ESS Show Family

Meet the Faces of Elite Show Stock
Left to Right: Shelby Seymour (Farrowing Barn), Garrett Keenan (Owner),
Bobbi and Dave Seymour (Gestation through Marketing)

History:
We started as a small family operation and have continued to develop or foundation sow herd over the years to gain the genetic potential to produce high quality prospects that are highly marketable in all avenues of the show pig industry. Currently we are in 5 states and are always eager to help all clients from the first-year showman to the experienced breeder looking to add to his or her herd. Without our customers and peers in the hog industry we wouldn't be able to be where we are today, so look no further for high quality prospects with the help only a family operation can provide!

2014 Prospect Information

We are certainly excited about the prospects that are going to be offered this year. This is potentially of the the deepest sets we have ever put together. We will be offering both January and February born boars, barrows, and gilts that will be ideal for spring and summer jackpots, and August or September Fairs. We feel the overwhelming quality offered this year will be competitive at any level you wish to take them. We will continue to post pictures and information about this line-up, and if you have any questions about viewing the prospects please feel free to contact us about your next champion!

An example of the high quality in this years set sired by Monster Jam at Triple B Sires. Certainly an exciting group that has a promising future!

1-2 "Laila" - Knock Out (Heavyweight x Super Glossy) x (Bring It On x Bulldog)

Throw back to a prospect gilt we retained last year to implement in our foundation female herd. She is out of a herd boar that we used heavily last year named Knock Out (Heavy Weight x Super Glossy) on a Bring It On (Cain Super Sires) daughter that is at the roots of our sow herd. The gilt pictured had half and full sibs that were marketed in 4 states and had Overall Grand Market Hog at Lincoln County Fair, Reserve Champion Dark Cross Division Dark Cross Scottsbluff County Fair, Reserve Champion Middle Weight Lincoln County Fair, 2nd in class to Grand Overall Barrow Scottsbluff County Fair, Boar prospect sent to Wyoming, and numerous class winners at county shows in multiple states. She was bred to Monster Jam (fTriple B Sires) and farrowed 11 total yesterday with 100% viability. An exciting litter from a powerful line that I look forward to seeing grow and develop. Pictures and information on this gilts litter and other litters this year will be posted as they come.
